Outlying Landing Field (OLF) Facilities for Oceana Master Jet Base and Cherry Point MCAS Washington County, North Carolina

GER conducted a subsurface exploration and prepared a geotechnical engineering report for the design and construction of an Outlying Landing Field (OLF) and supporting facilities.  We conducted 100 soil test borings and supporting in-situ field and laboratory testing to develop design and construction recommendations.  The project was taken to35% design and was subsequently placed on indefinite hold by the Navy.
