US Embassy in Haiti
This project is located on two sites near the existing US Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. These have been designated the Stecher-Rouman site and the Banana Plantation Site. The latter site is located immediately adjacent to the existing embassy compound. The former is located about 700 meters from the embassy. The Stecher-Rouman site will provide a new housing compound (NHC) and the Banana Plantation site will provide additional buildings for the embassy as well as additional parking.
The NHC site will include the construction of 86 housing units of 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms and 3 stories in height. These units will be clustered into 25 buildings and composed mainly of cast in place concrete. There will be associated parking, stormwater management ponds and utilities with this project.
The Banana Plantation site will include a new warehouse, utility building, local guard facilities, a support annex, a commissary, a pedestrian CAC, additional staff parking, stormwater management ponds and utilities.
