The project site is located at the existing parking lot on the oceanside of Atlantic Avenue between 30th and 31st Streets in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The new hotel will be a 20 story structure. The column loads ranged from 800 kips to 2000 kips.

The project’s parking garage site is located on the entire block bounded by Atlantic Avenue, 31st Street, Pacific Avenue and 30th Street in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The park stage is located just east of the intersection of 31st Street and Atlantic Avenue and the rest rooms are located on 30th Street extended across Atlantic Avenue. Current plans include the following:

• Demolition of the existing structures on the entire block proposed for the garage.
• Construction of a 5 or 6 story cast-in-place and precast concrete parking garage. Structural loads are estimated as follows:
• Construction of a small amphitheater type stage in the open space between Atlantic Avenue and the boardwalk.
• Construction of a fountain/planter at the boardwalk.
• Replacement of the existing streets surrounding the garage (except Pacific Avenue) with paver blocks.
• Rehabilitation of the rest room facilities that are located on 30th Street extended near the boardwalk.
